C&D Scrap Metal, one of the original scrap metal dealers in Houston, announces its expansion with a second scrap recycling location slated to open in early Fall 2015 in Northwest Houston. Owner and CEO Dennis Laviage and Vice President Cynthia Laviage have specialized in sales and service of scrap metal in the Greater Houston area since 1979. The company has grown tremendously and needed more space, so with a new 8 acre location, C&D will create new jobs in Houston and provide convenience to customers in the Northwest Houston area.

C&D Scrap Metal has a big impact on the environment, and the expansion will make the company’s impact even larger. Separating out aluminum, copper, stainless steel, iron and materials that can be reused saves them from taking up space in landfills. These scrap components do not become environmental contaminants. “We are thrilled to expand our business with a second C&D location,” Laviage says. “We need more space, and there has been quite a demand in this highly commercial area, so opening a second location will provide a convenient solution for customers in the Northwest part of Houston.”
